How Our Migration Process Works

  1. Request Migration After Sign-Up After purchasing your hosting plan, open a support ticket titled "Migration Request." Include your current host's name, the type of control panel (cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin), and your current hosting login credentials.
  2. Assessment & Timeline Our team reviews your current setup and provides an estimated completion time. Small sites typically migrate in under 2 hours. Larger VPS or dedicated migrations may take 4–12 hours depending on data volume.
  3. Secure Data Transfer We use encrypted rsync or cPanel's built-in transfer tool to securely copy all your files and databases to our servers. Your original site is not modified or deleted during this process.
  4. Validation & Testing Once data is copied, our team tests your site on the new server using a temporary URL (or hosts file modification). We check that all pages load, databases connect, emails send/receive, and SSL is working.
  5. DNS Cutover & Go Live After you approve the migration, we assist you in updating your domain's nameservers to point to WebsNP. Full DNS propagation typically takes 1–4 hours globally. We monitor your site during this window.
